New Vaud energy law
Free pre-assessment of your property portfolio
The new Vaud energy law (LVLEne) comes into force on 1 January 2027. Each building now has its own obligations and its own deadlines. Within a few days, we tell you which ones apply, for 3 to 5 buildings of your choice.
Request my pre-assessmentWhat you receive
-
For each building, a one-page sheet: year of construction, estimated energy reference area (ERA), heating, existing CECB or not, the LVLEne obligations that apply and their deadlines.
-
A one-page summary: priority buildings, recommended next steps and subsidies to plan ahead for.
-
A 30-minute presentation, at your offices or by video call, to discuss it.
Free and with no obligation.
Why now?
-
2032
CECB mandatory for buildings constructed before 1 January 1986.
-
2037
Class G buildings of 750 m² ERA or more must reach class D.
-
2042
Same obligation for class F; replacement of fossil-fuel heating systems installed before 2020.
-
2047
Replacement of oil and gas heating systems installed after 2020.
A renovation takes several years to prepare: assessment, studies, budgets, permits, then works. And subsidies, which cover 20 to 30% of the works on average, must be applied for before the works begin.

Frequently asked questions
Is the pre-assessment really free?
Yes, for 3 to 5 buildings, with no obligation. If you would like to go further, we will then make you a precise offer for an audit of your entire portfolio, a CECB or a renovation plan.
What information do I need to provide?
The address of the buildings is enough to get started. The year of construction, the type of heating, an existing CECB or consumption readings help us to be more precise.
How long does it take?
We call you back within one working day, then deliver the pre-assessment within 10 working days of receiving the information.
I am a property manager, not an owner. Is this for me?
Yes. The pre-assessment gives you precise facts to answer your clients, building by building, without tying up your technical teams.
My building has no CECB. Is that a problem?
That is exactly what the pre-assessment identifies. The CECB is mandatory by 2032 for buildings constructed before 1986, and it is still required when a building is sold. The implementing regulation also provides that a building of 750 m² ERA or more without a CECB within the deadline is presumed to be class G.
Do you work with installers or suppliers?
No. Duralis Energy is an independent engineering firm: our recommendations do not depend on any supplier.
